VIDEO: Schokkende beelden, bokser sterft in de ring na knock-out

Daghio (49 jaar) stond tegenover Don Parueang in de ring afgelopen 26 oktober in Bangkok. De bokser kreeg het zwaar te verduren tijdens de partij doordat zijn tegenstander hem tot twee keer toen naar het canvas sloeg. De impact hiervan was dusdanig dat dit het leven koste van Daghio. Terwijl Daghio stervende was en nog in de ring lag werd de winnaar gehuldigd.

Er werd met ongeloof en verbazing geregeerd op de dood en de ceremonie in de ring: “This is one of the most disgraceful things to happen in boxing for some time.
